The first piece in the “Love is Violence” series. This is a hand-drawn illustration of a photo of my partner, with scrawled song lyrics as a background. For the main colouring I used coloured pencils, then lined the image with a black fine liner, before adding the blood smears using POSCA pens, either drawing onto the piece and then smudging the line with my finger, or painting directly onto my finger and dabbing onto the paper.
